Tom started working at Modern Communications part-time during his college years. In 2003, he joined us full-time as Project Manager and Systems Design Engineer. In 2021, Tom took the reigns as President, leading Modern into the next era, and in 2023 Tom took an ownership stake. When Tom isn't at work, he enjoys watersports in the summer and hunting in the winter. Tom and his wife Sarah coach sports in all seasons and cheer on their three kids at soccer and volleyball games.

Bob has been with MODCOMM for over 34 years having several different roles with the company. As a leader of the AV sales, design & integration team, Bob focuses on providing solutions and supporting the needs of clients in the Corporate, Healthcare, and Educational markets. He enjoys time spent with his family and is involved with his parish community. Bob participates in all types of athletic activities including coaching and officiating youth sports.

Jay joined MODCOMM in 2014 as part of the broadcast & digital solutions team. Jay specializes in media lifecycle management but comes from a background of all things photo/video-related. Essentially, he’s a nerd, and proud of it! When Jay isn’t working you’ll usually find him spending time with his wife and two beautiful daughters OR riding and tinkering on one of his 10(!) vintage scooters.

Bob is the Senior Engineer and Installation Specialist at MODCOMM. An expert in the field since 1997, he is involved in on-site design and installation of A/V and broadcast systems. When he is not at work Bob and his wife, Karen enjoy being outdoors, walking and hiking local park trails or working in the yard. They always seem to get involved with family or friends home projects. When they get away, Bob and Karen relax at their favorite Inn by Table Rock Lake.

Dan started working at MODCOMM in February 2020, bringing with him over 25 years of experience in the business phone system field. Dan is close to his four brothers and one sister, and he enjoys their weekend get-togethers. Many times this includes home projects such as retaining walls, patio builds, and painting. Dan is always willing to lend a helping hand!

Darren joined MODCOMM in 2021, after moving back from California after 20 years. He's had a passion for pro audio since he learned in church as a teenager from a patient retired friend named Vernon. After 40 years of involvement in commercial A/V as a business owner, volunteer, and employee, he still enjoys the technical and creative aspects of the work.

Darren is a graduate of St Louis University, he and his wife are both active in their church and live in the Affton area.

Megh is the center of our operations, serving as our Service Coordinator. Megh came to us from the hospitality field and brings her wealth of experience and understanding of customers' needs and team balance. Megh is from Imperial and loves the outdoors and open spaces. Tammy joined MODCOMM in 2023 after years of AV marketing experience, shared core values and a love of volunteering at church.

When not working, Tammy enjoys time with her 3 boys and husband. She can often be found on the sidelines of their sporting events or at the Lake of the Ozarks.
