Most of you are aware of the major products that Modern Communications carries, such as Panasonic, JVC, AVID, and Hitachi, but how many of you know that we handle the full line of Ross Switchers from Standard Def to Hi Def. Are you aware that we handle Link Electronics full line up of Distribution Amps, Routers, Sync Generators and Close Captioning encoders /decoders?
Sometimes we get caught up promoting the the products we deal with every day, we forget about the products that are necessary to complete the system. We take for granted that our customers know all the products that we carry. After almost 30 years in business, we still have people coming to us and saying, "I didn’t know you handle that product". We feel we have a good lineup of products to support the Broadcaster as well as the Professional Groups. We also handle products like Extron and Aurora for the Multi-Media and Presentation Groups.  has officially introduced their new AJ-P2C032RG 32GB P2 solid-state memory card to their popular line of P2 HD and P2 solid-state camcorders and workflow tools. WIth the availability of the 32GB P2 card in November, Panasonic will have quadrupled the storage capacity of this solid-state memory card in just this year, providing HD recording time greater than most tape-based and disk-based systems. This is in addition to the proven benefits of no-moving-parts reliability and fast IT file-based workflow.
With five 32GB P2 cards installed, the AJ-HPX3000 and HPX2000 P2 HD camcorders can record over 2 1/2 hours AVC-Intra 100 or DVCPRO HD, the AJ-HPX3000 can record over 3 hours in AVC-Intra 100 1080 24pN native and the AJ-HPX2000 can record over 6 hours in DVCPRO HD or AVC-Intra 100 720 24p native. These storage totals are doubled in AVC-Intra 50.
This 32GB P2 card will have a suggested list price of $1,650 and is scheduled for initial deliveries in November. The new 32 P2 card will be offered in addition to the 16GB P2 card that has been shipping since May. |
